From August 21st to 23rd, Rimini hosts the Balamondo World Music Festival.
A unique show is staged in which artists and musicians of different genres confront the Romagna folk tradition of Liscio on stage in Piazzale Fellini.
Mirko Casadei, artistic director of the event, and his Big Band celebrate the 70th anniversary of "Romagna Mia" this year. Accompanying him on this musical adventure is a rich parterre of guests: Tullio De Piscopo, drummer, singer-songwriter, and percussionist, an icon of jazz and pop music (August 21st); the Modena City Ramblers, an Irish folk group, together with the Banda Città di Rimini (August 22nd); and finally, Alberto Bertoli, son of the renowned singer-songwriter Pierangelo Bertoli (August 23rd).
