The Palace of the Grand Ducal Commissioners of Terra del Sole opens its most secret rooms for a themed visit: The Path of Punishment.
A story and a look dedicated to a specific and significant cross-section of the history of the fortress city wanted by Cosimo I de' Medici, Terra del Sole, the capital of Florentine Romagna.
From the halls of the Civil and Criminal Court to the ancient dungeons, the visit illustrates the judicial system and the meaning of punishment in the Medici era, giving back a voice to the spaces that guarded decisions, power and destiny.
