Wolves, the Casanovas of the Alps: wolf howling

The Howling Wolf in the Casentinesi Forests National Park.

A walk to learn about the National Park’s largest predator.
Meet at 4.30 pm at the IDRO Ecomuseum for an introduction to wolf biology and an observation of their main phenotypic characteristics.

We’ll travel by car to Casanova dell’Alpe and, via a gentle walk along a trail lasting around two hours (on a forest track, so suitable for everyone), we’ll reach the designated listening points.
We recommend bringing a small snack, a torch, and wrapping up warm.
The excursion is expected to finish at around 8.00 pm.
Cost: 10 euros, flat rate.

CHILDREN! (Aged 10 to 12 only: 8 euros)
As the nature of this excursion, dogs are not permitted.

The excursion will go ahead even in the event of light bad weather.

Booking is compulsory on 0543 917912, subject to availability.
