An adventure in the magical world of gnomes among the tunnels and walkways of the walled city
A special day out with the family, amid nature, fantasy and history, in the most authentic heart of Romagna.
We begin in Bagno di Romagna, a small jewel of the Apennines where the air is fresh and the pace immediately slower. Here, amidst centuries-old woods and shady paths, young and old can transform themselves into explorers along the magical Gnome Path: an enchanted trail made up of hidden little houses, fantastic creatures and surprising details, capable of making the imagination fly at every step.
Before venturing into the woods, a stop at the Visitor Centre of the Casentino Forests National Park makes the experience even more enthralling: amidst interactive spaces and immersive installations, children can take part in a small creative workshop to make a cute gnome hat, to take with them as a good luck charm and a souvenir of the Gnome Bagnolo adventure.
After the walk, it's time to relax: a picnic surrounded by greenery, among the scents of the forest and genuine flavours, provides a perfect break for the whole family.
In the afternoon we move on to Cesena, where history comes to life within the walls of the impressive Rocca Malatestiana. Among hidden walkways, ancient cells, medieval tales and historical animations, the visit turns into a real adventure, capable of fascinating children and adults alike. Followed by a sweet snack with local products for young and old alike.
