On Sunday 11 October in Ranchio, a small town in the municipality of Sarsina, the traditional "Sagra della Castagna" takes place.
From the morning onwards there is a market display of typical seasonal products: chestnuts, mushrooms, truffles, honey, cheeses and cured meats, but also freshly cooked cracklings and fragrant fresh seasonal chestnut cakes.
The Pro Loco stand will be open from 12:00 to 21:00, offering a menu of typical local dishes and traditional chestnut-based recipes.
In the afternoon, fun for young and old alike with lotteries and various games, music and entertainment.
All accompanied by tons of roasted chestnuts, rivers of Cagnina and Sangiovese wine and lots and lots of courtesy.
Ample parking areas with shuttle service and over 700 square metres of covered space.
