On Friday 3 April 2026, at 9.00 pm, the Procession of the Dead Christ will take place in Portico di Romagna, an ancient tradition that has been repeated over time.
The start will be from the Church of Santa Maria in Girone, it will cross the whole town and along the route various evocative stations will be represented. It will end in the Church of the Madonna del Sangue. The medieval village will be lit by torches to follow the passage of the 50 costumed figures and soldiers on horseback who will represent the passion of Christ.
The procession will be accompanied by the sacred music of the marching band.
