Twenty-four hours without a mobile phone or computer: how does it change the way we experience time? Long before anyone began talking about digital detox, Jewish tradition had offered an invitation to pause for thousands of years.
This is Shabbat, a ritual that has helped shape Jewish identity and profoundly influenced Western culture. A day when commitments and the rush of everyday life give way to spirituality, loved ones and the joy of being together.
Through ancient and contemporary objects, stories and delicious recipes, the exhibition explores this tradition and its many fascinating aspects. An invitation to step into a different rhythm, where slowing down means making room for what truly matters.
From 23 October 2026 to 2 February 2027
